Packaging according to HPE standard

The packaging experts of the Federal German Association for Wooden Packaging, Pallets, and Export Packaging (HPE) are organised in the HPE-CERTIFIED CUSTOM PACKAGING group. Aim of these companies is to offer a fit-for-use, qualitatively flawless packaging service according to the state of the art on schedule. Therefore, the currently 72 members of the expert group are characterized by many years of experience in packaging of industrial und export goods. Most important pillars of quality assurance are:

 

… The quality of the packaging service is regularly checked by independent auditors.

… Qualified experts, who are regularly trained, e. g. in packaging training courses for HPE members

… The HPE-CERTIFIED CUSTOM PACKAGING Guidelines, defining the minimum standard for a perfect quality and market-driven packaging. Other professional constructions are feasible on customer’s request. The HPE-CERTIFIED CUSTOM PACKAGING Guidelines is regularly checked and updated by the HPE-CERTIFIED CUSTOM PACKAGING expert group and thus reflecting the state of the art.

… The packaging liability insurance covers damages caused by fault packaging. Such insurance can only be concluded by an expert packer and is compulsory for all members of the HPE-CERTIFIED CUSTOM PACKAGING expert group.

... Additionally, to the pure packaging service, the customer today expects an extensive logistical offer. Therefore, the expert packers have significantly expanded their know-how meanwhile covering the following range of services:

The companies are established as logistic service providers on the market, partly supported by a certified QM system. The members of the expert group “HPE Certified Custom Packaging” can be recognized by the “HPE Certified Custom Packaging” trade mark containing the individual manufacturer number of the certified member. The trade mark may only be used marking packages complying with the HPE-CERTIFIED CUSTOM PACKAGING Guidelines.
